Maileg (pronounced like 'My Lie') was founded in 1999 in Denmark by Dorthe & Erik Mailil and is still run by the husband-wife team today. By bringing storybook whimsy to everyday moments, Maileg toys help children explore the pure and simple wonder of imagination. Beloved for their heartwarming personalities, Maileg toys show playfulness and charm in every last detail. Theirs is a timeless world filled with beautiful accessories and settings to be collected and shared with friends and family.
Each Maileg toy is hand-made or hand finished. Not every toy will be exactly the same, giving their toys character and charm that plastic toys made out of a mold cannot match.
Maileg toys are always limited releases, becoming collectibles that are cherished by children of all ages and are handed down for generations.
