Maileg (pronounced like 'My Lie’) was founded in 1999 in Denmark by Dorthe & Erik Mailil and is still run by the husband-wife team today. Each Maileg toy is hand-made or hand finished. Not every toy will be exactly the same, giving their toys character and charm that plastic toys made out of a mold cannot match.
Maileg toys are always limited releases, becoming collectibles that are cherished by children of all ages and are handed down for generations.
